Sustained Hope has a three-fold
mission.
First of all Sustained Hope is an organization with the main purpose to
provide individuals with the greatest hope; that being a relationship with
Jesus Christ. We are actively involved
in Bible studies, Church programs, discipleship, education and mentoring
programs, Kodzobi Golden Warriors futbol club, and daily lifestyle evangelism.
Our second purpose is to help families who are struggling to meet the simple needs of their children by providing (through donations) supplemental welfare support. We also provide (through donations) educational
scholarships for students who show the potential and desire for learning.
Thirdly, our purpose is to help men and women develop sustainable businesses
within the village. We are bringing a
simple, culturally adapted business plan that can be easily taught and
executed. Through this business plan, we
hope to see families be able to provide proper nutrition for overall health of
the family. These businesses will also
provide the school fees necessary for the children to go on to higher
education. Each business will also
provide support for the community as a whole or for individual churches.
We are also currently researching and planning for opening a school (Sustained Hope Academy) to give children the basis for future learning. We are also beginning ESL (English as a Second Language) and reading classes this spring.
We want the people of Ghana to be excited about their future. Our goal is to give them opportunities to
succeed in life, building a relationship with them so we can teach them the truth of God's Word.
