Education Development

We are building relationships with Ghanaians through various education means.

We believe that educating the children of our villages is an integral part of developing the future of our villages. Our development plan has several areas of focus.

We are currently establishing a library with over 80 boxes of donated books. Many of them are already shelved and ready to be used. Through the library program, we seek to help children learn to read and help with their comprehension skills by providing weekly reading lessons. Guiding and helping them to read with understanding will expand their ability to learn in school and become successful.

We are preparing to begin ESL classes in the Spring of 2018. We will be training English speaking Ghanaians to lead classes of various levels of language learning.

In the future, we are planning to open a teaching computer lab. Our goal is help people develop basic computer skills to help them obtain jobs in a rapidly developing field. Ghana is developing very quickly in technology and we want to help the people in the village develop along with it.

Sustained Hope strongly feels that the future growth of our villages is dependent upon the education of our children. We want to instill hope in our children that they can go on to higher education and obtain the jobs they need to provide for their families and village in the future.

We are looking at the possibility to begin the
'Sustained Hope Academy'
a school for preschool thru 3rd graders.
We believe that a good sound basis of reading, math, and critical thinking students will be able to finish their academic levels on time and be able to pass attend higher levels of school.

Please pray with us as we continue to research this opportunity.
We are asking that God provide: the property, give us at least one American teacher to help administrate, teach, and groom Ghanaian teachers, and some funds to finish the property. If these things are available we will begin enrollment, and ship curriculum.
